Primer for Concrete

USES

Crete-Prime is a single pack solvent based primer designed for use on prepared concrete surfaces. It is a high quality thin resin/rubber solution for priming surfaces prior to the application of the following Dantex surface
maintenance products: Maxi-Flex, Maxi-Crete, Maxi-Screed, Ultra-Band and Ultra-Screed.

APPLICATION OVERVIEW

The surface must be dry and free of dust, salts, grease and other contaminants immediately before coating. Performance of Crete-Prime will be greatly enhanced by a high standard of surface preparation. Brush or spray application is preferred on all prepared surfaces.

Application of Crete-Prime is by brush or spray.

By brush, apply evenly using a clean, well-loaded brush. Do not attempt to “brush out” the wet coating. At all times avoid ponding or over application of the primer.

By spray, apply a light ‘mist’ coat to all surfaces until fully covered and allow to cure.

Only fully trained operatives must be allowed to apply Crete-Prime.
