USES

Joint Sealant is hot applied sealant for the maintenance of horizontal joints and cracks in concrete and asphalt carriageways and airfield pavements.

N1 Joint Sealant is an ultimate quality product and N2 Joint Sealant is available for general purpose repairs.

DESCRIPTION

N1 and N2 Joint Sealants are hot applied, low extension, polymer modified bituminous sealants with graded extender and adhesion agents that cure to a black, solid plastic finish.

Both Joint Sealants have very good expansion and contraction qualities: N2 has flexibility of -20oC to+50oC and N1 of -30oC to +60oC. Resilient to the ingress of the dirt and grit associated with trafficked pavements both offer very good resistance to plastic flow over a wide range of service temperatures and to de-icing chemicals. They have excellent adhesion properties on all surfaces.

An area repaired with Joint Sealant can be re-opened to traffic after a short curing time of up to 30 minutes.

N1 and N2 Joint Sealant comply with EN14188 requirements.
