Dantex products at the Olympic Games 22nd January 2012
Olympic Games ticket sales may have been haphazard but protection and maintenance of the new Olympic site roads, pavements and structures has been exceptional. Dantex has supplied a number of products to help ensure the infrastructure of the site is not only good for 2012 but will be long lasting and fit for purpose well into the future. Nu-Cryl AG anti graffiti treatment and Pavix CCC100 concrete protection are just two of these products.
Ultra-Band Certification 3rd October 2011
Dantex's newest product, Ultra-Band, has been awarded BBA HAPAS approval. Ultra-Band is a single component material developed for filling, sealing and overbanding cracks and joints in non-porous bituminous and concrete surfaces. Ultra-Band has an excellent load bearing, high friction finish. It is fast and simple to use, leaves no waste and cures quickly. TextureScreed applied to an asphalt surface on the M1 motorway lane 1. The surface is suffering from early stage fatigue. TextureScreed applied early spring 2009 by specialist applicator, Route One Highways Ltd.
New Product Pipeline 22nd September 2009
Dantex is currently working with the British Board of Agrement to obtain full BBA/HAPAS certification on a number of exciting new products.
Iceland International Airport 17th August 2009
Project Update: Dantex recently project managed a major project for ASI Plc at Iceland’s International airport at Reykjavik. Over a quarter of a million square metres of ASI’s Rhinophalt asphalt preservation materials where successfully applied to the two runways. The project was managed and supervised by staff from Dantex on behalf of ASI.
Cheshire Multi-Storey 3rd August 2009
Project Update: Specialist concrete repair contractors, Concrete Repairs Ltd recently asked Dantex to supply a large quantity of Chem-Crete Pavix CCC100 for a major multi-story car park refurbishment in Cheshire. CRL’s client specified the use of Pavix CCC100 for the car park decks to prevent ingress of water and salts into the concrete and resulting corrosion of the steel reinforcement.
Dantex was able to supply the materials and have them delivered on-site in just two days.
Motorway Moonlighting 20th July 2009
TextureScreed asphalt repair materials are now keeping the traffic flowing smoothly and without disruption on a section of the M40 motorway. Applied at night, by Route One Highways Ltd, TextureScreed will extend the service life of the asphalt road surface.
Taxiway Time Saver 14th April 2009
Manchester International airport Ltd. chose Maxi-Crete as a fast alternative to replacing concrete slabs on one of their taxiways. Approved specialist applicator, Allied Drilling Ltd, was able to repair a number of major defects in the taxiways in a fraction of the time it would have taken to repair with conventional methods.
Terminal 5 9th March 2009
Dantex is supplying materials to the new car parks at Terminal 5 London Heathrow, in addition to most of the UK’s international airports and the 2012 Olympic site.
Tanks Back on Track 19th January 2009
Project Update: From the start, back in Feb 07 each year sees another major section being treated. British Army tanks and other armoured vehicles can once again freely use their Tank Training Facility at Bovington Wiltshire base. Maxi-Crete 40 Concrete Repair materials applied by specialist contractors Colas Ltd, have been successfully installed in many 100s of metres of defective transverse joints in the concrete track.

June 08 and ongoing... VolkerLaser Ltd is delighted with the results when using ArmourJoint on a number of key London sites over the past couple of weeks. ArmourJoint material performs well even under the most severe traffic loadings.
Stratford Line Protected 3rd March 2008
2008 onwards... Chem-Crete Pavix CCC100 and NU-CRYL AG. chosen by Contractors Morgan Est Plc, for east London’s new Stratford Line project. Many thousands of square metres of Pavix and Nu-Cryl AG are being applied to the key structures to protect against corrosion and at the same time provide excellent long-term anti graffiti protection.
First Class Airport Repairs 22nd November 2007
Nov 07 and still using Dantex on a regular basis... Our airports maintenance clients, Raynesway Construction Ltd, have been able to offer one of their major clients, BAA, first class concrete repairs by using Maxi-Crete on a number of Scottish airports. Maxi-Crete is truly “the flexible concrete”.
